The Risa S Rosengard Foundation is a nonprofit organization that provides grants to 501(c)(3) nonprofit public charity organizations for programs that assist families coping with cancer. We support programs that help families throughout the process treatment or bereavement.

The mission of the Risa S Rosengard Foundation is to provide financialresources to help children and families during or after cancer treatment or bereavement. The vision of the Risa S Rosengard Foundation is that no child or family member should go through these dark times feeling alone and helpless.

Glenn Rosengard Glenn Rosengard, President and Clerk: Glenn Rosengard was Risa Rosengard’s devoted husband for more than 10 years. Glenn and Risa chaired fundraisers for the Red Cross of Massachusetts Bay, Metrowest; Glenn continues this important commitment. He is a Vice President/Branch Manager at Eastern Bank.

Alan Singer Alan Singer - Risa's brother, Treasurer: Alan Singer is president and owner of L & S Food Sales Corporation. He has been involved in the food industry for over 20 years. He also has been involved in many other business and philanthropic ventures at the community level.

Gail Harrison Gail Harrison - Risa's sister, Vice-President: Gail Harrison, a cancer survivor, is Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of Colorado Anschutz Campus.

Harriet Singer Harriet Singer, Board member: Harriet Beverly Harnch Singer, Risa's mother, was born in Newburyport MA. She is a strong, inspirational and vital force behind the Risa S Rosengard Foundation. Having been mother to four children and currently grandmother to nine children, Harriet has a unique perspective as well as first-hand knowledge of family needs during and after cancer. Mrs. Singer was a primary caregiver to three of her children and also to her beloved husband Leon of 58 years, through devastating diagnoses and long-term illnesses.
